JANUARY

Recycle your Christmas Tree at Perfect Christmas Tree Farm annual Tree Chipping Day, held in January.

Maple Sugaring at Great Swamp Outdoor Educational Center is always something to look forward to, even on a crisp day.


FEBRUARY

Visit the wineries for their special Valentine's Day Events. Villa Milagro Vineyards and Four Sisters Winery are just two that have themed events year round.

Winter's Day on The Farm at Fosterfields Living Historical Farm, where you can take a wagon ride and help the farmers with their winter chores.


MARCH

Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day. Join in one of the biggest parades in New Jersey, the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Morristown.


APRIL

Pequest Trout Hatchery and Natural Resource Education Center opens its doors to the public for the annual Open House, which usually takes place the weekend before Trout Season opens.


MAY

Ewes will be all wooly and ready for shearing at Valley Shepherd Creamery's Spring Sheep Shearing Festival. There will be shearing all day! ...and there will be heritage crafts, musicians and more!


JUNE

Treasures of the South Branch Environmental Fair at the historic Red Mill Village Museum with exhibits, activities, games, entertainment, food, and crafts.

SEPTEMBER

The 4-H Ren Faire, a medieval delight with jousting, falconry exhibitions, Rennaisance vendors and more.

Look forward to discovering historic Belvidere the first weekend after Labor Day during Victorian Days.

The Gran Fondo NJ in Morristown – the first gran fondo, which means "big race" in Italian, to take place in New Jersey.


OCTOBER

The Last Fling Pumpkin Sling, which features pumpkin slinging in addition to the October Vistas Bus Tour. Take a break from watching the smashing of pumpkins and explore the wonder agriculture, parks and cultural sites the area has to offer.

Autumn leaves Artisan Cheese Festival at Valley Shepherd Creamery is all about having as much fun as possible, tasting as much cheese as possible and tasting stuff you won't find just anywhere.

Every Halloween the Red Mill Village Museum transforms into the Haunted Mill, complete with shrieks of delighted terror that echo across the river.


NOVEMBER

Holly Days in Morristown and Holly Days Morris County kick off the day after Thanksgiving with Santa on the Morristown Green and other festivities. Visit morristourism.org.


DECEMBER

Hope Christmas Craft Market is always the first Saturday and Sunday in December, in Historical Hope, NJ. All items for sale are hand made. Trollies/Buses run from location to location.
